Josh Johnson Appreciation Post

I know this is an LA baseball blog, but this man deserves his own post.

Alright, I'm not teh ghey, but JJ or should I say JJ's pitching makes my heart flutter. The one bright spot on my fantasy baseball team, I had the joy of watching him pitch live last season, and within 10 pitches, knew that this kid was going to be something special for a long time.

- Josh has not disappointed, leading the league with a 1.61 ERA, tied for the NL lead in strikeouts, and 9-3 on a Marlins team that has given him little run support, and is lol awful defensively. On a better team, he would and still should be getting as much if not more than love than Greinke did last year.

- Johnson features a hard fastball, power slider, and hard change which throwing from his 6'7" frame is like pitching straight downhill on batters who rarely if ever square up on him. His 11 strikeout performance today was spoiled by the Marlins' bullpen blowing the lead for him.

- <3 <3 <3 JOSH JOHNSON, he will 100% be one of my keepers for next year, and hope he keeps up this pace, and wins his first of many Cy Youngs.
